This social fun event is for women of all fitness levels, walkers wanting to learn how to run, beginners and experienced runners are welcomed. This event is 18+, 21+ for a post-run mimosa. 2. Freaks, Antiques & Uniques October Market
Still looking for your Halloween Costume? Then this event is for you! Come shop two floors of Unique finds filled with spooky Halloween wares. Witch City Consignment will host 35 vendors of dart art and creepy creations at the largest thrift store on the North Shore! You’ll be able to find a wide variety of spooky decor from talented crafters, artists and vendors at this two day event.

3. Quincy Market History Tour
Come hear Boston’s story at this FREE one hour historical tour of Boston’s Quincy Market! Learn about the history of Boston’s politics, architecture, geography and more. You can meet your tour guide at the property directory near Anthem Restaurant.

4. American Cheese Month
October is American Cheese Month! Join The Cheese Shop in celebrating everything American Cheese! Sample your favorite American Cheeses while learning from and speaking with Cheesemakers themselves. American Cheese Month is a celebration of North America’s delicious and diverse cheeses and the farmers, retailers, and chefs who bring them to your table.

5. 41st Annual Harvard Square Oktoberfest
The Harvard Square Business Association is excited to announce the return of the 41st Annual Oktoberfest. Harvard Square’s Oktoberfest features worldly foods, arts, crafts, free samples, sidewalk sales and rides. There will also be six Oktoberfest beer gardens location throughout Harvard Square. There is something to do for the whole family!

6. The Somerville Flea

7. Four Town Farm: Corn Maze
Throughout the month of October, Four Town Farm offers a FREE corn maze! Once you finish up your corn maze you can shop and pick your own produce and do a pumpkin ride. This is fun for the whole family.

8. HONK! Festival Street Bands
HONK! is a musical spectacle which features street bands from all over the world who come together to share their different approaches in instigating positive changes in their local communities. HONK! is based in Davis Square, Somerville but has events happening throughout local neighborhoods in Cambridge and Boston. This year marks their 14th annual festival of street bands! 9. Waltham Pumpkin Patch
The First Parish Waltham is hosting their 3rd annual Pumpkin Patch! Starting this Saturday October 12th, there will be pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, carving tools, family photos ops and so much more. This Pumpkin Patch will even be open for extended hours this weekend on Monday October 14th for Columbus Day!
