Foo Fighters have taken joke tour riders to another level. In 2011, their tour rider had a coloring book theme complete with a word search and a maze. It also included a list of non-permitted items in the venue which included “light sabers” and “garden gnomes.”

Two weekends ago, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl told the crowd at Rock in Rio: “we go home next week and we start making a new Foo Fighters record."

Well, now it's next week, so we can assume the band is hunkered down and starting work on the follow-up to 2017's Concrete and Gold. The expectation, according to drummer Taylor Hawkins, is that a new Foo album will be released sometime in 2020.

In the meantime, let's revisit that Rock in Rio set and the back-and-forth between Foo Fighters and Weezer.
