Soundgarden and their history is the topic of the new book Dark Black And Blue: The Soundgarden Story.
Available now via Amazon, the book was written by journalist Greg Prato and covers the band members’ early history before forming the band through to Chris Cornell’s sudden death in 2017. Also covered in the book are stories behind some of the band’s most iconic songs and albums as well as various stories about their lives on the road.
A number of new interviews were conducted for this book including  Matt Pinfield, Phil Anselmo, Marky Ramone, Dave Wyndorf and more. However, it is unclear whether the members of Soundgarden were interviewed for this book or whether they approved or endorsed its release.
