Dave Grohl is setting the record straight: He's not on the new Queens of the Stone Age album.

Rumors began to swirl in June when Billy Gibbons said in an interview with eonmuisc that he and Grohl were collaborating with Josh Homme on a new QOTSA record. However, Grohl told NME, "You know, I never f-cking mentioned that I’m on the new Queens record. I’m not on the new Queens record."

Grohl did, however, mention what he and Homme have been up to together.

"You know what Josh and I have been doing together? Riding motorcycles and eating waffles. That’s it," said Grohl. "Let me tell you, it’s a fun morning. We’ve done it more than a few times and it’s pretty f-cking great. I wish I was on the new Queens album. I f-cking love playing with Josh. He’s one of my best friends, but at the moment it’s just motorcycles and waffles."

Hopefully, if Grohl and Homme collaborate in the future, that EP or LP will be called Motorcycles and Waffles, which admittedly sounds like the best way to spend a morning.
