The Moth Club in Hackney, London played host last week to the relaunch of Club NME, a Friday night staple from the early 2000’s.

Clubgoers payed their £5.50 at the door (just under 7 U.S. dollars) expecting a DJ spinning danceable indie rock and maybe a live set. They certainly got the latter, as Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters popped in as an unexpected special guest. And he brought along a guest of his own: 80s pop icon Rick Astley.

Imagine paying 7 bucks to get into a random Friday night club night and having Dave Freaking Grohl show up and play a short set? It’s madness.
