Tool and their catalog are slowly appearing on streaming platforms, with the band's 1991 demo 72826  showing up multiple services this weekend, but there is still some confusion around the featured demo audio

Many outlets reported that 72826 appeared on the likes of Apple Music, Google Play, Pandora and YouTube. However, Loudwire shared that Tool's reps said the demo that appeared on Google Play and YouTube are not "official." At the time of publishing, 72826 is not showing up under Tool's artist page on either Apple Music or Spotify.

All of this hubbub follows the band making headlines in May when Tool profiles appeared on Apple Music and Spotify. Tool is one of the last few major acts to not have their catalogs on streaming platforms.

This news comes when Tool is a little over a month out from the August 30 release of their highly-anticipated follow-up album to 2006's 10,000 Days. So far, an album title has yet to be announced.
