TORONTO, ON - SEPTEMBER 30: Bruce Springsteen performs during the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games 2017 at Air Canada Centre on September 30, 2017 in Toronto, Canada.

Blinded By The Light, the upcoming film about the Bruce Springsteen-fandom of a British Pakistani teen based in the 1980s, predictably has a soundtrack dominated by The Boss. However, where the soundtrack might surprise fans is which Springsteen songs are included.
In addition to hits like “Dancing in the Dark” and “Hungry Heart,” the Blinded By The Light soundtrack also features some previously unreleased songs including “I’ll Stand By You,” which Springsteen originally wrote for 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the first film of the Harry Potter franchise.

Also included are two rare live cuts: a recording of “The River” from a September 21, 1979 show at Madison Square Garden and a recording of “The Promised Land” from Springsteen’s set during 2014’s A Night of Valor concert at The National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day. Audio of the latter can be heard below.

The Blinded By The Light Soundtrack is available through multiple digital streaming services here.
