MALE, MALDIVES - FEBRUARY 01: Chinese tourists taking a selfie in a speedboat before heading to their resort on February 01, 2016 in Hulhule', Maldives. China's top diplomats estimates around half a million Chinese tourists this year as the Maldives aim to lure 1.5 million Chinese annually by 2018. The tropical islands remain as one of the most popular holiday destination for Chinese travellers after Thailand's Phuket and South Korea's Jeju island. The number of Chinese tourists continue to climb over the past few years with an increasing number of guest houses popping up on the islands and high end resorts attract holiday seekers with short luxury package deals. People take so many selfies now they don’t always bother to examine all the little details before they share ’em. Maybe it’s time to slow down.
A woman named Kelsey from the U.K. tweeted about an embarrassing moment this weekend where she and her boyfriend sent a vacation selfie to her parents . . . without realizing their red and orange bottle of Durex LUBE was in the shot.
Kelsey also shared a screenshot of her mom’s response . . . quote, “Dad said the pics are lovely, nice Durex bottle.”
