Miley Cyrus Covers Led Zeppelin, Metallica, NIN at Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, ENGLAND - JUNE 30: Miley Cyrus performs on the Pyramid stage on day five of Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 30, 2019 in Glastonbury, England.

Miley Cyrus performed on the main stage at the Glastonbury festival in the U.K. over the weekend, and she included some massive rock influence into her set.

Some still might raise an eyebrow to the pop star dipping her toe into the rock world, but she has proven on more than one occasion that she can more than hold her own, and this is yet another example.

First, she incorporated a snippet of Led Zeppelin‘s “Black Dog” into her set, which is featured at the start of the clip shared by the BBC below.

Next, she performed Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters” that can be heard in the audio clip below.

And then, she performed as her Black Mirror character Ashley O and sang “On A Roll”/Nine Inch Nail’s “Head Like A Hole.” Video is hard to come by of this cover, but so far, this less than stellar clip below is the only one that’s really out there.

In other words, regardless of your feelings on her, Miley Cyrus can and does rock.
