Did McDonalds kill the 2 Cheeseburgers Meal? A Report

Spoiler alert: they didn’t. But the whole situation had me really stressed out.

 

I was doing the typical dad thing with my kids on Monday afternoon, shuttling them from appointment to appointment, and had to play the McD’s card. You know what I’m talking about: you have food at home, but you’re not getting home until late, so to the drive-thru you go.

 

Looking over the menu, I was surprised to see that the Value Meal staple of my youth–the beloved yet simple 2 Cheeseburgers Meal–was absent. And the more I thought about it, I hadn’t remembered seeing it on a McDonald’s menu in quite some time. Granted, I only hit the golden arches about three or four times a year, but still, I was concerned. So I did what I always do: I tweeted about it.

 

 

But had I spoken too soon? Turns out I had.
