Detroit man who won $30 million in the lottery must split the money with his ex-wife because he got the jackpot during divorce proceedings.
Rich Zelasko had been separated from his wife for two years when he bought the Mega Millions ticket in 2013. The divorce from his wife Mary Beth wasn’t complete until 2018. A Michigan appeals court has ruled that Rich has to share the fortune with Mary Beth.
