A woman in England recently asked her coworkers for a birthday cake with Mariah Carey on it.  But apparently the bakery misheard the request . . . and made a cake with a picture of Marie Curie on it instead.

Now a picture of the cake is going viral . . . and it’s gotten so big Mariah even tweeted about it.

Mariah Carey or Marie Curie? A not-so-common mix-up, but one that saw quite the birthday blunder. In a tweet, author Harriet Alida Lye explained that her cousin, Siobhan, told her colleagues in England she wanted a cake with singer Mariah Carey's face on it - a perfectly reasonable request for one's birthday.
