This happened in Lincoln, California, near Sacramento.  A guy shot cell phone video of a flock of sheep that came through an open gate and invaded his backyard. 

He spends about two minutes trying to clear them out, but he's not having much luck.

Then his wife starts shaking their kid's tambourine and that does the trick.  The sheep are in the area because the city uses them to clear away vegetation and reduce fire hazards.
