A Georgia, Alabama, New Hampshire, Kentucky... uh, man, pleaded guilty Monday to bigamy after authorities say he married four women.
Prosecutors say 43-year-old Michael Middleton wedded a Georgia woman in 2006, married another southern belle in 'Bama in 2011, then got hitched up North in New Hampshire in 2013, prompting the charges. He made a bride out of a fourth woman in Kentucky in 2016. Middleton allegedly used the marriages for access to his wives' assets. Middleton received a suspended sentence, probation, and must comply with any ordered counselling. Meanwhile, he also faces domestic violence charges in Maine.
The Associated Press reports Middleton said, "It was a good outcome... I hope to move forward with my life and everything, and abide by everything that was handed down to me."
