After announcing Western Stars, his first new solo studio album in five years, Bruce Springsteen has released its first single and video "Hello Sunshine."

Per Springsteen's official website, Western Stars is heavily inspired by late '60s and early '70s Southern California pop records and covers "a sweeping range of American themes, of highways and desert spaces, of isolation and community and the permanence of home and hope."

In a statement about the record, Springsteen said, "This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements. It's a jewel box of a record."

Western Stars is now available for pre-order on multiple streaming platforms here, with exclusive merch bundles and vinyl pressings available at BruceSpringsteenStore.com.
